LITIGATION & TRIAL RESEARCH: MOCK JURIES

Asisa has developed a signature procedure along with expert legal research consultants to offer this service.
A “Mock Jury” allows lawyers to evaluate potential reactions of jurors using a group of respondents with similar characteristics to those that will potentially be jurors in real life trials.
This research technique us used to evaluate a potential verdict from a panel of respondents (jurors) after they have attended a case presentation including a detailed and objective view of each side’s arguments.
Mock juries help the lawyer simplify arguments and expand on specific topics that “mock jurors” focus when deliberating. This type of research can be used both when the case has just started and when the end of the trial is nearing to polish and refine closing arguments.

Mock juries are not only tools to help predict jury deliberation outcome but rather a thorough examination of the potential juror’s decision making process.
Litigation an trial research is recommended for:
Cases where there’s a lot at stake.
The case is / will be complicated.
When the lawyer’s client is extremely confident or is in denial.
There are too many “strong” arguments.
